Below is a photo showing my final decision on handling the treatment of the shower curtain curtains ( http://simonerene.blogspot.com/2009/06/its-curtains-for-you.html ). These ballroom length black curtains are made with inexpensive IKEA cotton fabric end trimmed with left over fabric from the bed skirt I made months ago.
And finally, below is a sneak peak photo of the headboard I am still working on. It uses the same cotton fabric as the cafe length curtains. The 30 self covered buttons have yet to be completed, lol, but at least you can see the silk pillow cases I completed a while ago(http://simonerene.blogspot.com/2009/06/pillow-fight.html ).
The paint patch is a test. I am thinking about painting the wall behind the bed a Fuchsia color but need to live with it for a while.
