Video Break with Shakti

Lately I have been thinking about inner power and our abilities to manifest, create and change. With these thoughts comes consideration of the divine within and with those considerations various incarnations of Shakti begin to dance inside my head.

Shakti, from the Sanskrit word Shak "to be able", is the sacred primordial force or energy that moves the entire world. It is the divine feminine creative power personified. Shakti, often referred to at the "The Great Divine Mother, exists in both female and male but is mostly active in her various expression through feminine power. Consider Parvati, Lakshmi , Durga or Kali.

I am not Hindu but I can appreciate the beauty and symbolism of the powerful forces that lie within each of us.
