On Notice

Dear Readers.

 You may notice that the header for this site no longer mentions North Star Fund and that there are no longer ads posted for google. I have deleted these items.

Last night I received an email advising me that "I have 3 working days to make changes to simonerene.blogspot.com" because of the following -
- the site is currently displaying Google ads in a manner that is not compliant with our policies
  (example sent - http://simonerene.blogspot.com/2010/06/play-me-song-mr-piano-man.html )
- Publishers are not permitted to encourage users to click on Google ads or bring excessive attention to ad units. For example, your site cannot contain phrases such as "click the ads," "support our sponsors," "visit these recommended links," or other similar language that could refer to the Google ads on your site.

I am truly baffled and have contacted Google but in the meantime I have removed all ad-sense tabs, since they are the only TRUE ads on the blog, and any mention of North Star Fund, which makes me sad since the reason I began this blog was with hope that any revenue made from readers would benefit the organization.

While sorting details I will continue to share the good things I run across and post the website addresses so that you can purchase or find out more information about the items or events. Hopefully I can sort the perimeters in which I can use blogspot.com to share these things and that those perimeters are acceptable to both me and google otherwise this site may close.
