I was in desparate need of a new Chef's knife, but I am not a cook that wants to invest $100s. I finally stopped toying with the idea of buying a knife from Ikea and purchased the Gynnsam Chef's Knife for only $14.99, much less than what it's truly worth.
I love this knife! The blade runs the length of the wooden handle, making it very wear-resistant. Its weight feels good in my hand and it is sharp enough to cut through the toughest meats and root vegetables (I have been testing!!).
