Lately I have been trying to remember the Brooklyn of my childhood by pushing pass the sentimentality and romanticization of memory. It is hard; with the constant change of landmarks and boarder line and definition of neighborhoods reaching for an ideal that never was makes it much easier to believe the fairy tale. In the end the more that things change the more they stay the same...sneakers hung in tree
