Old Fashioned Cleaning

Pond's Cold Cream  and Oil of Olay aside one of the staples in many of my family's bathrooms was a jar of Noxzema. The smell alone brings back memories of being 6 years old and sneaking into my Nana's bathroom, opening Uncle Dennis' jar of Noxzema's Deep Cleansing Cream and "washing" my face in gobs of the stuff just to get that tingle. As a teenager I never attempted to use it, my skin was oily enough, adding a cream cleanser to the mixture wasn't going to happen. But recently when my "adult" cleanser failed and I found a few pimples on skin that should have been pimple free more than a decade ago I decided it was time to try something new.

Overwhelmed by choice and price for things that all contained either Salicylic Acid and/or Benzoyl Peroxide as a preventive for adult acne I was just about to give up when I happened across the newly designed Noxzema line of facial products. Awash in nostalgia I purchased Noxzema's new Clean Blemish Control Daily Scrub especially formulated for adults. Oil and Alcohol free this salicylic acid based scrub gently removes impurities and leaves my skin smooth and moist without feeling greasy and heavy.

Available at your local drugstore - $5-6 per tube

I have been using eb5 for more than 20 years and couldn’t live without it. It is a wonderful moisturizer that is quickly absorbed into the skin. It is a high quality product at a reasonable price.
