Yes, I am old enough to remember the amazing walkman by Sony before it was replaced by the Discman and then the MP3 player, which, for most of us became synonymous with IPOD. I recently had to put my poor abused IPOD shuffle to rest. It served me well but sadly my needs have outgrown its simplicity. I could have selected another Ipod product but instead I decided to go old school and purchase a Sony Walkman MP3 player and I am not disappointed by that choice!
At just over a $100 the Sony Walkman NZW-S544 Red 8GB MP3 player offers music, photo, video and even a radio play option, a long battery life, an alarm clock and built in speakers that allow me to forgo the earbuds (notice I didn't say headphones!!). I can even continue to use Itunes since all I need to do is drag and drop music, video or photo files to upload.
