By now dear reader you must know I love to bake but as a rule of thumb I don't usually buy or keep these goodies in the house. Breakfast muffins aside, I only bake for specific and special occassions and though I don't t buy such treats I do on occassion indulge in other people's goodies while making my way across the city.One of my favorite places is Betty Bakery on Atlantic Avenue. Their red velvet cake is wonderful and the cupcakes they sell are just the right size to satisfy a craving.
