Cooking by the Book

I know a number of people that love cook books more than they love to cook and satisfy their lust by reading anything written on the culinary arts. Regardless of why you love them if you wander up town to 1435 Lexington Avenue (between 93rd & 94th St) you will come across Kitchen Arts and Letters, a bookstore that houses one of the largest collections of cook and food books out there.

You can visit their website, www. Kitchenartsandletters.com, for a sampling of what they offer but it's better to visit the store and get lost for hours while you browse through the most recently published books as well as older, out of print works. Don't hesitate to speak with the knowledgeable staff. They will gladly help you locate just about any book ever written on the subject of food or cooking in whatever language you feel comfortable reading.
